Holly Lead
Cindy Sylstad
Cindy grew up surrounded by Montessori. Her mom ran her own school in Tacoma, where Cindy helped both in the classroom and in the administration. She has also been a lead toddler teacher at Kreative Kidz. She loves the respect that Montessori teaches children both for themselves and the world around them. Cindy has 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, and is currently raising her Grandson. When not on campus, Cindy is busy reading, scrapbooking, diving into all things art, rock hunting and antiquing.

Anna Guo
When Anna started here at Arbor in 2022, she immediately fell in love with the Arbor Community, and loves coming to work every day. Her favorite thing about Arbor is that it feels like a big family. Prior to working here, Anna spent her time as a travel guide in China providing sightseeing adventures for tourists from all over the world. An avid outdoors woman herself- she loves fishing, crabbing and hiking in her spare time.

Aspen Assistant
Sunitha Mucharla
Sunitha holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and moved to the United States in 2022. In 2023, she began her journey in early childhood education as an Assistant Teacher at a daycare. Her time there deepened her passion for working with children and led her to Arbor Montessori School, where she has thoroughly enjoyed being part of a nurturing and inspiring environment. She lives with her husband and two sons. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring the world of computer science. She has a strong interest in learning computer languages and is always excited to expand her knowledge in technology. She is grateful to be part of the Arbor community and looks forward to growing both as an educator and a lifelong learner.

Ren Wu
Ren holds her Master’s Degree from Northwestern Polytechnic University in China, and has completed her Montessori Assistant Training with Montessori Institute of the Pacific Northwest. She says she has learned so much from Arbor since she started here in 2022, and loves working with children. On her off time, Ren is spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as enjoys cooking, planting flowers and vegetables. She also has a couple of guppies and snails.

Danielle Kremen
Coming to Arbor in 2024, Danielle originally hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. She brings a wealth of experience to our Toddler Program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, tutoring children K-12, a former Assistant Director of a Learning Center, and nannied for families for 3 years. She loves seeing the kids here grow in their independence as they gain skills to both problem-solve and communicate. When not in the classroom, she is home with her husband and two dogs, and loves weight-lifting, yoga and spending time outside.

Shweta Shantveer
Originally from India, Shweta moved to Sammamish from San Diego and found her way to Arbor in 2024. Working here, she loves the independent and hands-on learning style that Montessori imparts. She says, “Arbor is like one big family helping you grow and shine!” When not at school, Shweta loves to explore nature through road trips and hikes. She loves to design and be creative, as well as plan and organize, Shweta gets to put that into practice with her husband and her two kids. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and has worked previously as an architect and freelance designer.

Esme Napalan
Esme grew up from the Philippines and moved to the U.S. in 2001. She currently lives in Issaquah with her husband Michael and has a daughter Ava who is now in University. Her love of working with children brought her to became an active parent-volunteer ever since her daughter attended Montessori. Seeing the amazing human she has become drove Esme to be part of the school that helped her daughter and other children cultivate their love and passion for learning, and joined Arbor in 2016. Esme holds her Early Childhood Short Certificate and has completed her Montessori Assistant Training at MEIPN. Esme is also thrilled to bring ASL to all of our Primary Students as our Primary World Language Specialist. When she is not surrounded by her wonderful students, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing table tennis, shopping, dining out, and walking her two dogs Shaggy and Fluffy. She also has a passion for aquaponics and is an aquarium hobbyist.
